Hi,
firts of all sorry but i don't speak French so i have to talk in English but i can give some info and help about it since i know it very well.
The car manufacturer was Playtron (nothing to do with Kyosho) was a Japan company in the RC businness during late 70's and beginning of 80's they are mainly on Airplanes and boats but produced some cars both electric (Linx, Dobbermann, Grizzly) and nitro, Viva Arizona (USA market) and Mercedes 500K (European market), they share the same chassis but have different body. The main aspect of the car was the electric starter system a real innovation on RC cars.
Playtron was a leader in the production of self starting systems for Airplanes and just applied their know how to the RC cars world.
I don't know exacly when but they closed their businnes in the late 80's.
Sometime they appear on the "Bay" but generally they are not complete and in good condition, the hardest parts to find are seats and radio lid, spot lights, Electric motor, 100% complete, not bent or broken cage (Viva Arizona), and decals.
I'm a real lover of this car (the 500K was my first RC Car) and have lot's of them bot Viva and Mercedes 500K runners and shelf queens (NIB and Box Art).
Feel free to contact me if you need any help about it.
