New introduction of ASSO RC200

Message par assocista » 06 Août 2010, 12:44

Hello, This is the new introduction about one of RC200 which I have.
As you know, RC200 cares very much in an active vehicle about the selection of parts in the end of 70's.
Especially for the matching of Muff/Carb and plus one more something new for the charm point.
Here attached is a kind of realization for that after long working.
If it will be getting Ref, a little for your restoration, I am fine :D

Details are roughly as below.
*Motor: K&B McCOY modified
*Carb: OPS 8.0mm Inlet slide (the collaboration of K&B and OPS carb was popular at that time)
*Muff: Early article of McCOY Can Muff (Silver)
*Brake Arm: replace to White Nylon one (choice from Thorp production)
*Reinforcement of the servo
*Visible Air Filter
*Webra Fuel Filter

Enjoy

Currently I fond that the front rim of MRP is very good matching to RC200.
The design has a similar holes as the RC200 original one.
Below is set up with that.Enjoy :)

ASSOCISTA, the MRP wheel llooks good on your RC200, it has a similar design, but it looks that it has a larger diameter. :ok: Did you use a special adaptor to fit it, or does it have the same bearing/bushing size as the original RC200 wheel?

Cheers,
OCA1 :)

OCA1, The diameter of MRP is larger exactly compared with RC200's.
It's the same diameter as the front rim of RC300.
As I make the shape of tire lower profile looking like 35/40, It looks larger
The special adapter is not necessary to use. Because the axle shaft is the same one and just insert it except the s/steel collar 8)
MRP had the other version, which was ball bearing spec as well.

ASSOCISTA, The MRP wheel is pretty cool looking, it looks like a larger diameter wheel and with low profile tires it looks super! 8) Thank you for the nice rim comparison picture.

This is a ball bearing version of the RC300 wheel :ok:
