Hello OCA1 :)
It looks like unknown one. I never saw it before.
But It must be rare one at the end of 70's and matching to RC200:ok:

Thank you Assocista.

I'm restoring an early RC200 to install this engine, it has the power pod RC100, RC100 fiberglass front chassis and servo saver. I'll post some pictures when I figure out on how to upload them.

regarding the muffler it look nice !! , Perhaps it's a straight McCoy muffler cut and welded on a sidewinder exhaust . don't you think ?

due to steering blocks , I'm not sure it is an early version , but the servo saver come from an RC100 that's sure.

Assocista know more than me about these car , maybe he could give us more information.

You're right. The tail section looks like a straight McCoy muffler. Cut and welded on a sidewinder?..I'm not sure, it looks like it's factory done. I have a McCoy straight muffler and will compare the two.
If you look at the rear power-pod/chassis it is from an RC100 with a round and square cut out in the power-pod where the front and rear chassis bolt together.

The fiberglass chassis has a hole to fit the RC100 style servo saver and not the RC200/RC300 style servo saver. The hole for the RC200/Rc300 servo saver on a regular RC200 chassis is about 1" more to the front.

I guess the steering block is made by RPM,which was 3rd party as a custom parts for ASSOCIATED. Rear disk unit is also from that.

Here attached is the same linkage spec which was used for RC100.
Front chassis is also from RPM. The shape is a little bit difference compared with the regular one.

FRP chassis with one hole must be quite early article or proto by hand-made !
Your RC200 is much interesting spec anyway :ok: :ok:

Assocista,
Thank you for the information on the front steering block. RC100 Nice setup!

I also have a Titan T-1 that has a similar steering configuration.

I have already been a big fan of your website. Awesome site and great pictures. Keep up the good work!
I have been into 1/8 on road racing since I was a teenager and in the late 90's I was thinking of collecting vintage 1/8 scale cars, but finding your website really gave me a jump start.
