It's in a mess, most of it will need parts made as PB went out of business years ago, I found a website that can help track down parts for it but I can make most of what's needed but a new set of wheels and tyres will be necessary.
here's some pix of how it looks.

A little progress:
Got the mid section started,

The rear wheels look like this, chipped edges and scratched.

After the rim edge was cut back 2mm and T cut inside, these are 1/8 stock car foam tyres, a perfect fit, the front foams will need cutting to length and the outside diameter will have to be ground down 5mm.

A little progress:
Just got these nice sheets of hand made glass fibre from Razor, he sent two different shades so I could chose the one closest to the original chassis colour, didn't charge me for them either, what a top bloke.

got the front chassis plate cut:

Time to sort the diff out:
One of the cars previous owners thought it a good idea to use pipe grips on the diff to remove the spur holder!!!!!

Only thing to do here is turn it down on the lathe

Just got this vintage radio off tyler, he found it clearing a house, lol
It's new and never been used, the servo's are so slow it takes 2 seconds for them to go from EP to EP, lol lol
![Image](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y254/cabbie1/serpent/Photo064.jpg)
got the front hubs sorted with new bearings and cleaned up, servo mounts cleaned and fitted and all the black plastic resurfaced and shinny:

I cut down some savage rods to make new ones:
![Image](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y254/cabbie1/serpent/Photo068.jpg)
I also dropped all the parts in caustic that are going to the anodisers
![Image](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y254/cabbie1/serpent/Photo069.jpg)
Not only did I get the brand new 30 year old OPS, I also got in the engine box:
1 new crankshaft, 2 yes two P&Liner sets, 1 new con rod and 1 new exhaust adapter (I didn't have a clue where I would get the exhaust adapter, lol)

Got the diff parts back from the anodisers, they did a super job matching the gold and yes I know the bearing holders where originally black but I wanted them blue (it's my car isn't it?), the rest of the diff parts where cleaned up.
![Image](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y254/cabbie1/serpent/Photo061-1.jpg)
Diff fitted with new spur gear, I don't know what material the brake disc is made from but it's still newish so I put it back in, the exhaust fitted with re-anodised black top and new 90deg nipple.

Oh dear, look at the bumpers. the back one is the wrong material too, should be white nylon as the front lol
![Image](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y254/cabbie1/serpent/Photo065-1.jpg)
Ok, one sheet of 3mm rylon masked up and ready for cutting,
![Image](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y254/cabbie1/serpent/Photo066-1.jpg)
This is how we fitted the front bumpers back then, fit the body and mark round it.
