Thank you MK4. It's kind of difficult to differentiate between the CK780 and CK790 and many parts where interchangeable between both versions, so many racers would mix and match the parts. Unfortunately I don't have any documentation on this.MK4 a écrit :super car, delta pan car look cool!!
do you know difference between CK780 and ck790 ?
ck 790 has a straight chassis maybe ? any documents ?
Maybe Assocista has more information on this.
I recently bought some rc parts from Art Carbonell, so I'll contact him and he might have the answers for us.

Thank you V12 How are your Delta car projects?
This is an early Super J chassis. I have not seen many of these, this is a picture of another car with similar chassis.
The white radio plate of a CK760 has no holes for mounting the battery and receiver and has no middle reinforcement bar.
Yes, you are correct. this is an HP 20 Gold-Cup car engine. The dimensions and mounting holes are very similar to an OPS 21 side exhaust engine that I plan to install in the future.

Hello ASSOCISTA
Yeah, I got this car with this HP 20 engine and wanted to swap it with an OPS 21 enigne, but after looking at it, I thought that this engine is kind of unique for a Delta car. The mounting holes for the head are the same as well, so I could easily fit the ops delta head. I might just keep it like this
The other car has an OS 21 FSR engine that you also do not see often in a delta car.

My Delta projects were on hold until now as I was busy with other projects and things. But I will start soon with the Delta cars. One being the original Delta Phaser 1/12 car (at RC10Talk forum) what will be completed now. Also the Spyder has waited very long for being built.OCA1 a écrit :Thank you V12 How are your Delta car projects?

For the 1/8 cars not sure what will be the first one, there are CK790E (my first Delta 1/8 car), Red Eagle and also a CK800 waiting now. Also at least one AE car will be built.
I really like the look of the HP20 motor, that black/golden looks really amazing and different to other motors. Actually I really like the Delta heatsink head, but in this case I would keep the HP motor in original state. It is a motor I would like adding to my small collection of K&B, Testa Oro, Cipolla and OS side and rear exhaust motors, if there is one to find.
Regarding that brown (?) Super-J chassis, this is really unknown to me, is it really original Delta item? What is the part # if it´s known or from which Super-J version? I know of course the aluminium, light green and dark green epoxyglass chassis version but not this one.
That's great V12! I have seen your Delta Phaser 1/12 car on RC10Talk. Very nice car Look forward seeing your cars. I like 1/12 Delta cars too.
Also like the HP engine and I can always change it to an OPS which has the same mounting holes.
Unfortunately I do not have the part number for the chassis, but it looks machined and in the correct type of FRP material and weave pattern, similar to the green chassis. I believe that it is an original early Delta chassis and I know somebody who can maybe confirm this. I will keep you posted.

Thanks OCA1! I´m glad you like my Phaser. This was a very difficult project as this very early car was built from spare parts what are near impossible to find now. But I always wanted that car. Hope to finish this project soon with replacing some of the provisional parts.
An other of my Delta cars is still waiting for restore, a Delta Villain 1/10. This could be found currently at the workshop section of Classic RC. It is an early version as there is an older style steel rear axle used as older, more heavy rear hubs.
Also could be seen at the Classic RC workshop area http://classicrc.wordpress.com/specials/workshop/
