Here is the hand-made fuel tank which I arranged currently for RC300.
The spec is a real classic style and just pulled & raised.

This tank is based on Hi-Johnson shell. I added some custom pieces which I made like attached.
Hope it will be more understanding for the construction

oui il semblerai que les etranger on du mal a se connecter ,
peut etre un problème avec le systeme de traduction automatique !
Assocista et oca1 n' arrive plus à repondre ...domage
je supose que les autre ont le meme problème.

Here is updated RC300 BD with the above tank
I arranged following parts to this RC300 BD.

*Motor:K&B McCOY
*Carb : OPS Slide
*F/Chasis : Vintage chasis from the end of 70's
*Radio Plate : I made the custom one
*Radio : Vintage Futaba
*Tank : as you know
*Muff : McCOY Can Muff side mounted.
*Servo Saver : B&B Hop Up parts. Ball Bearing inside

Nice RC300 with locating the McCoy bin muffler on the side of the radio tray. It's like one of Gene Husting's earlier RC300s Well done...and the icing on the cake is the center piece... Le Must de Cartier fuel tank!

Attached is also Mr.Gene Husting's spec of RC200. This Can Muff was mounted to the left side. The scene came from Monaco RC World Cup 1978.

cette voiture je l ai vue a monaco ,les américains tournaient chez eux sans échappement ,et pour ne pas déséquilibrer la voiture,ceux _ci montaient l échappement sur la platine ,je me souvient que sur ce circuit il se plaignaient de problémes de carburation .1978 c est déja loin le pot est un pb

It was a kind of popular style in the end of 70's U.S.A

It was popular before the tune pipes became commonly used. One of the main reasons for mounting it like this is to actually protects the bin muffler from damage in case of a rear collision.

Fantastic car I luve these cans mounted on the radio plate...must do one like that some days...remenbering seeing this at Carnoux as well, its great to see the exhaust gas fumes coming up from the car under acceleration
