RC200 Marrot close to complete
RC200 Marrot close to complete
Hello
The Marrot project which try to assemble from last year is close to complete now.
Currently, I added the Marrot diff to RC200.
This RC200 is quite nice collaboration with 3 countries like U.S.A,France and Japan.
*U.S.A --- RC200 Main Chassis
*France --- Marrot Custom Parts : Sink head, Carb,F/Cross Bar,Steering Block & Diff, also Chevron Servo
*Japan --- Stinger Muff、Custom Fuel Tank & Futaba Radio , and assembling by Japanese
There pictures are the process of that so far.
i found the following matter during assembly.
*RC200 Original Power Pod : It's not useful to assemble with diff because of the clearance between
Spar gear and Bell. Even Spar(58T)/Bell(11T) is difficult to assemble.
So, I modified the pod of RC300 so that It can be fixed to RC200.Please refer to following pix.
*Linkage of Carb : This carb has the different direction for the linkage compared with the other products.
I modified it for easier position and more functional with the ball link style. Please refer to following pix as well.
Hope that It will be helpful to the person who will do it in near future.
I will add the Marrot Chevron Servo finally.
( ( ( Much appreciation to Xavier,Simon and all the person who support this project ) ) )
Enjoy

Hi Simon/garros/max54/avio/mani/MK4
Thank a lot for your great comment I am so happy that you could enjoy this piece.
Regarding the bearing block of this diff, I think that It was made for RC300 exclusively.
Basically, The wheel base of RC200 is a little bit shorter than RC300.
Therefore, The center of the bearing block against the bottom screw is difference each other.
Maybe you can compare it.
I am really happy that I could assemble it with such nice option parts. Thanks again for that
