TO BE OR NOT TO BE...

The Romax family is very easy to differ.
First there is the Romax electro and gas version.
Only springs in the rear, no front dampers. only 2 ball bearings and belts in the rear arms.
Then there is the Romax Racing.
All ball bearings and 4 dampers.
Yours does shave the optional "Frog" body on it.
Which was never included in any kit.
The next car from Garbo after the Romax was the Presto. Only the front arms do have the same dimensions, otherwise it is totally different.
Was sold without body or cage. You had to buy either the Devil body or a alloy or steel cage.

The Romax Expert was sold only in one year.1982
Befor it was only the Romax and 1983 came the Presto.
so the Romax Expert is a quite rare car.
Even more in the 4x4 version, which was never sold as a kit.

I think its just those 2 sites.
yours Rcmag and Tamiyaclub.com
There is no other site in the world, where such fanatic collectors are joined together.
And your a bunch of 10-15 people, which do have some great cars, but are a little specialized on the french market.
The Tamiyaclub is more on the elctirc of course, but its wider spread.
Members all over the world and brand also all over the world.
That makes this site so fantastic.
Thats a little problem of your site. To small and to specialised on the french market.

It depends on the brand.
Yankee, BMC, Cipolla, aso are almost unknown at the Tamiyaclub.
I was one of the first who showed them old gas cars.
Now its common to show all types of RC cars at the club.
Former only Tamiya showed up and some Kyoshos and Ayks, but all electric.
Now we do have quite a bunch of collectors for gas cars at this club.
And some of them try to find their ways to rcmag and retro modelissme.
E.g. Marwan and Ascona1.
But its hard to respect at your forum, because we do not speak french.
Even if you have such a collection, like me.
