Bonjour
Here attached is Phoenix Road Max which I just restored for my reference currently.
This racer was made by Todoroki Model in the mid/70's.
It has the unique suspension unit and wire linkage throttle/brake like Photos.
These are quite innovation style at that time. The Futaba radio is also in the mid/70's
Please enjoy All !

could we have more photos regarding the rear pod suspenssion system ?
that's very kind of you to allow us discover this rare japanese brand !!

Hi MK4,
Yes,Todoroki Model was always competitor against Kyosho during the mid/70's to early/80's.
I remembered that Todoroki's Light weight chassis concept like Road Ace design was a little bit earlier than Kyosho at that time.
The World Championship Geneva 1979 was most brilliant time for the Todoroki Model.
However, After that, Kyosho had an advantage for R&D and growing up with Fantom 4WD technology.
It was a dream time for us!
Here attached is more photos about the rear suspension unit. Please enjoy!!!
