This Ergal steering arm is made by Paris Racing to replace the stock Picco Genesis steel steering arm that is weak and often breaks off

A very popular and important option part back in the day.

ASSOCISTA, Yeah the late Ron Paris made a lot of cool parts for Associated and Picco cars. He was actually the importer and distributor of Picco cars and engines for the US

Hello Assocista, Thank you so much for your nice comment my friend

I'll be posting more pictures when the car is done...
The Picco Genesis and parts are already difficult to find right now, it will definitely be a treasure in the near future. Right now I'm restoring an original spec Picco Genesis so that it can be compared to the Paris spec.
Cheers

Thank you MK4. I'm glad that you like the car. Paris Racing being the long time Picco importer and distributor for the US market, produced many cool hop up parts for their Picco cars

OCA1, I love such rip spoiler on the bumper

Good design

ASSOCISTA, The bumper extensions on both sides of the bumper is to give some extra protection for when the car is hitting the side rails on the track and to try minimize damage. It's common to use wood or steel plate as side rails on US tracks

not very forgiving for the cars.

Hi ASSOCISTA,
Yeah, I like Paris parts for Picco, but not quite the King...

After his success in making hop up parts for the Asso RC500, Ron continued on making option parts for the first Picco (Genesis) in the early 90's as he was the importer and distributor for Picco cars and engines.
