these Delta have awesome look !!
that's a great restoration work's !!
Delta super J Seems the most desired 1/8 gas car right now .
I discovered that many version were build via Assocista site , very few super j were imported in France .
We saw this car in France in the hands of A.Carbonnel and Ishiara .but it was lastest version of the super J : the CK800 with ball diff.
Do you know the brand of you special power pod ?

Hi MK4,
Thank you so much for your comment. Me too, I like the looks of the Delta pan cars as well
You're right, Delta cars are getting more desirable as ever and everything Delta has big $$$ signs attached to it.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer of the power pod is unknown, it's made of cast aluminum/ alloy and has the number '4' cast on the bottom of the pod. It probably was a prototype part or special option part at the time. The design of this pod seems to add more rigidity to the rear of the chassis.

Here is the stuff from the midwest series in U.S.A 1976.
Mr.Arturo Carbonell won the race ! It's a very close to OCA1's spec

Hi OCA1
Ooooh! It's very rare and early style of DELTA cooling Head.
It will be matching to lay down Engine as well. Great looking

Hi Assocista,
Thanks and you're right, this type of heat sink is also commonly used in the lay down engine position, such as in the Delta Dash.
This is a similar style heat sink used in my Asso RC-1
