Bonjour All :D

Here is my current project for the next stage of RC200 Road Runner.
I just switched my radio unit from Futaba 4PL to Sanwa (Airtronics in overseas) M12.
M12 is the good design,High Quality and also having a lot of function. I love it so much.
At the same time,I added the gyro system on my RC200 and the test has been already done.
I spent to check all the condition in one day on the track.
After fixing the good set up, The car is getting very stable and controllable!
It's quite rare case, especially on the vintage rigid pan racer. But I guess that you should try to do it when you have the vintage road runner
It will give you the next direction of the vintage rc life for sure. :ok:

Hi ASSOCISTA! :D

RC200 with some very cool stuff, the long awaited Sanwa gyro for rc cars! :ok:

I am curious on how the gyro corrects the handling of the car? I assume that it is only connected to the steering servo.

Hi OCA1 :D

Yeah,This Gyro is the latest sp article from Sanwa,Especially for car.
The connection is exactly with the steering servo and can operate the each gain finely from the transmitter like gyro priority or Steering priority.
It's realize to apply a exquisite counter according to operation of the driver and road surface.
Therefore, The drive feel is really controllable like on the rail. It's of course depend on the each set and driver's skill.
also have to consider the diameter of the F/R tire.
Such Gyro must be for the EP car or something like that basically. But I guess that It's quite functional tool for our lovely vintage car as well

For the happy R/C life :fete:

Hi Xavier :)

You must be interesting this action
I simply show you the action on the track as far as my trial.See below attached.
It's like the anti-slip function. I tested some kind of the tire dimention at the same time.
The result was that the best set was F/65mm,R/70mm.
The gain of the sensitivity for Gyro & Steering on the transmitter, It's up to the condition of your chassis.
Hope It will be clear for you!
