Fairlady Radio Box

The Graupner / Kyosho Fairlady radio box was known to be very weak and can easily crack if you tighten the servo holder bracket.

see the photos below !! I made the same radio box from 1.5 mm thick lexan which is tough, especially in the box base area.

The lexan material gave not only more strength and durability, but even the flexibility to paint it internally with any color you prefer !! to facilitate easy decoration and to maintain a super smooth exterior, this excellent radio box comes with a protective film around the whole box and around the top cover as well.

I did 1 in Black (original color), and planning to do another one in different colors.

I think lexan is more flexible than ABS and since it is clear I can drill holes much easier then I paint it, this is not the lexan used in bodies, it is thicker and stronger specially in the base area were you need to fix it to the chassis and fix the servos inside.
