You're right. The tail section looks like a straight McCoy muffler. Cut and welded on a sidewinder?..I'm not sure, it looks like it's factory done. I have a McCoy straight muffler and will compare the two. If you look at the rear power-pod/chassis it is from an RC100 with a round and square cut out ...
